BHARATVARSHA: SCRIPTURES AND SAGES AS PIONEERS

Article 1 of the Constitution of India declares that  "India, that is Bhārat , shall be a Union of States."     It is rightly so, India is Bhārat . Bhārat as a conception traces its origins in the ancient philosophy of India and is rooted in the Vedas, scriptures, Upanishads, Purānas, epics, ideas, thoughts, and teachings of sages and saints. The Sanātana Dharma woven the spiritual thread across the Bhāratvarsha and over the time evolving stronger binding bondage irrespective of varied caste, creed , sect , region , customs , languages , food habits, costumes and professions . KNOWLEDGE, LIBERTY AND FREEDOM: MOST CHERISHED IDEALS

We are always in search of something to fulfil our mental desire thrust upon us. We may be doing it knowingly or unknowingly. However, the ultimate goal is knowledge in a state of freedom. This has been beautifully elucidated by Swami Vivekananda : “The goal of mankind is knowledge. .... Pleasure is not the goal of man, but knowledge. Pleasure and happiness come to an end. It is a mistake to suppose that pleasure is the goal. The cause of all the miseries we have in the world is that men foolishly think pleasure to be the ideal to strive for. After a time man finds that it is not happiness , but knowledge , towards which he is going , and that both pleasure and pain are great teachers, and that he learns as much from evil as from good ... All knowledge that the world has ever received comes from the mind; the infinite library of the universe is in your mind.
